How to change the External Procurement type (NB) to (ExtP)Text in MRP Element (MD04)

Hi,

In MD04, I would need to change the External Procurement Text (NB) followed by Planned Order to "ExtP".

We would need to change the highlighted External Procurement Order type (NB) to "ExtP".

The change of dynamically created description of MRP element, including highlighted NB text can be implemented with the MD_DISPLAY_ELEMENT BAdI, the CHANGE_MDEZX_EXTRA method.As per the BAdI documentation:

Check customizing transaction OMD5.

OMD5 allows to change MRP element descriptions e.g. PldOrd or ForReq from the screenshot in the question. However it won't allow a change to the highlighted part of MRP element text i.e. NB.
