KE30 Report Porblem (Multiple Selection Option & From/To Period Option)

Hi All,

I am facing two issues in KE30 - Profitability Reports and need some guidance:

1. When I create a report in T.code- KE31 using the 'Report with Form' option, I am not able to get the From Period and To Period option in the variables option so that I can get the same the selection screen option.

What is the way for bringing the From Period and To Period option at the selection screen so that the user can enter the period at the time of executing the report.?

2. What is the way to get the multiple selection option in case of KE30 report created using the Basic Report option. There we are unable to get the multiple selection option in the option of 'Record Type' and we require it. I have followed the stepas mentioned in thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/1511697 and also implement the mentioned note in the thread but unable to do. Please guide the way to get the multiple selection option for Record Type.

If the report is created using 'Basic Report' format, is it possible to use the multiple selection option.

Try in KE32 to use the Global var for record type, instead of local var

Hi Andy,

As Mr Ajay Maheshwari Stated goto KE32 and do the changes.

1) Goto KE32 and select the option of changing the report.

2) Goto the tab "Characteristics" and select the field "Record Type" from the Char.List(Left Side of the screen) and move it to "Sel.Characteristics (Right Side of the Screen)

3) Select the Check Box "Variable On/Off" you will be shown a Pop Up Screen...where you have the Global Variable displayed on the lower half of the screen...the Gloabal Varialble created by you will appear(shown in the screen shot by you), select it and you will have it in the input selection of your report...this is what Mr. Ajay was telling you all along.

Hi

The only way to get multiple selection option in KE30 report is to define a Global variable in KE3E...

In it, you must choose the selection option instead of Parameter.. Refer this picture

Actually I already tried that option but it is of no help. Maybe I am missing a step in order to make that change affected in the system.

Please advise what would be the correct way for doing it.

You need to replace the existing local variables with the Global variable..

Change your report form in KE35 or report in KE32

Thanks for your quick reply...but from where it is possible to change/replace the Local variable with Global variable in KE32. I created the report'Basic Report'.
