MD61 considering Past requirements

Hi All,

I have maintained MD61 planning results as

Nov 2012 - 1000,  Dec 2012 - 500, Jan 2013 - 1000, Feb 2013 - 1000, March 2013 - 300 etc....

My current Planning month is Feb 2013

MRP type PD, Planning strategy 40

When I run MRP,

MRP is generating planning results from Nov 2012 to March 2013.

My Requirement is MRP should consider only current month to feature months planning, MRP should ignore Previous months data.

How to achieve this functionality?

Please suggest me

Dear Sunil,

Do you have any valid reasons for leaving the old PIR in the system?

• If the answer is 'Yes', Please use the MRP Group functionality: Use transaction OPPR to set up the MRP group & use the field 'Period of adjustment for planned independent requirements' to set the number of days in past for which the PIR available in the system will be considered for planning; and assign the materials to this MRP group (through material master MRP1 view entry). All PIRs older than this number of days will be ignored by the Planning run.

• If the answer is 'No', Please use transactions MD74, MD75, MD76 to delete/reorganize the Old PIRs. Please refer to the SAP note 135807 for more details.
