Printer is not populating

Hi,

I have determined the Out put determination procedure, Output type, Access sequence. I have assigned the Output determination procedure to the Billing types and I kept the condition record in VV31 with the access sequence I have defined (SalesOrg/Billing type).

But when I am creating the Invoice , the output type is not populating automatically. Even, if I manuaaly give the output type (ZD00), it is asking the Logical destination. But I have aleady given the Printer name etc in VV31.

Why it is asking again the Logical destination? I am not able to print while I am running the batch job in VF06. Is there any step to define Printer too?

Please help me.

Thanks,

Jans

FYI, when you manually assign output type in VF01 or VF02, then you need to manually need to assign Logical destination in communication method of create/change:Output screen of your billing doc.

If you want know, why you output type didn't determined automatically, even though Output Condition record was maintain in VV31/VV32 for the output type. In VF02, follow the following screenshot.

Further, use TCode VF31 for mass print of Billing Doc.

Please note: Kindly use Processing mode wisely. For First Processing of output type use 1 and for Repeat Processing use 2.

Also, if like to print the invoices in background at specific time. You can schedule a background job with RSNAST00 program.

Hi jans,

After maintain the condition recore in VV31 , select the line item ( in condition record) and click on " communication" push button on top left side , than system popup with communication tab . Here you have to maintain print output parameters.( output device, no of msg, spool request name , print immediately etc..)

In your case you forgot to maintain output devise name...

If you want further clarification, please let me know.
