PurReq quantity difference in MD04 & MD05

Hello all,

This behavior seems to be across the plants.

When displayed via MD04, the PReq quantity is different than that shown in MD05. After you go to display mode, the values are same. So, why is the displayed quantity different?

To the left is the MD05 screen and right is the MD04 screen.

As you can see the PReq #s do match, but the quantities are different.

Any guidance on this?

MRP list is a snapshot right after MRP planning run. Whereas stock/requirements list presents actual data. Therefore stock/requirements list figures should agree with the current quantities of your purchase requisitions. Please check if they do, otherwise something is wrong with your system and you should open an OSS incident.

The purchase requisitions might have been changed after the MRP planning run when the MRP list was created. That would explain different quantities between MRP list and stock/requirements list.

Hi Dominik,

Am aligned to your comments. In this case however, there are no manual changes.

The PReq # that is seen in MD05 has a different qty displayed. When you go to the PReq details, the quantity is different.
