"Copy" actual assessment to plan assessment

hi,

with KP98 it is NOT possible to copy assessments from Actual to Plan.

I have the requirement that my user wants to "copy" the Actual assessments (created with transaction KSU5) to Plan assessement (normaly done by transaction KSUB) automaticly(!).

now the user has to copy all the cycles (there are many of it) manually from Actual to Plan. Then the user has to "post" the assessments with transaction KSUB for each period. thats a lot of manually work to do !

is there any way to handle this automaticly ? i already have a function module for copying the cycles, but how can i "post" all that automaticly ?

Hi..

SAP don’t support copying assessment data.

SAP only support copy below actual data.

So, After you copy actual data except for assessment to plan, you should execute allocation job using plan cycle which you create using actual cycle.

The user don’t need to "post" the assessments with transaction KSUB for each period.

The user "post" the assessments with transaction KSUB using First period and LastPeriod.

Hi

Thats standard behavior in my opinion

You can copy the cycles and then schedule them in background mode from KSUB. See if you can enter period as 1 to 12 in ksub instead of each period individually

hi,

well, i am not able to "cancel" the requirement from the user. they don't want to do it manualy, i have to accept this and find a solution for it in the future there will be more and more cycles.

Hi Martin

I dont this there is any standard solution to this. Create a Z program which processes all activities which currently the users are doing manually.

Also refer following thread for better insights into SAP rationale to exclude assessments from getting copied using KP98

Hope it helps
