Mr.Tripathi,

Certain MRP elements get into picture during Kanban replenishments. Some of them are JIT calls (MRP element JITCII) triggered with external procurement strategies and Transfer requirements (MRP element TrnReq) triggered when replenishments are to be from a Warehouse using a Kanban WH stock transfer strategy.

Being Kanban replenishments, they cannot be related to any MRP proposals (which alone can appear in S/R and MRP lists) and hence do not appear in MD04/MD05. You can see them only in the Kanban board/Correction option provided (PK13N).

MRP element does not specifically relate only to a MRP run result/s but also includes proposals created out of other planning actions like Kanban. That is the SAP design.

Hope your query is answered. Do close out this message and other similar one/s raised here and on the LE forum also.

Hi Ashwani,

During MRP run the system creates either planned order or Purchase requisitions

  based on your reqmts.

These planned orders/ Purchase requisitions are called as MRP elements.

MRP Element is the generic term for all objects which are displayed as items in the MRP list or in the stock/requirements list. Following are the various MRP Elements and their abbreviations

You can check in OMD5. We have UnplRq but not UnplRt.

UnplRq is from forecast values - not from planned requirements like PIR, Sales reqmts, reservations etc..
