This is a standard system behavior when using MRP in S/4HANA HANA and it happens because MRP aggregates data on a daily basis during the MRP run, so the sales order number is not available to be shown in the MRP List. In MD04 there is no aggregation, so you can see the order number. See the folloiwng KBA for details:
