Service PO creation from Proman

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me how to create service PO from Proman (CNMM) as PR for service is already created and I have not assigned any non material on that specific activity but still not able to create PO from Proman. Kindly tell me with the help of screen shot. For reference, I'm attaching Proman Config screen sot below:

When I run CNMM, I define below parameter:

After defining above parameter, I got below screen on which 'Generate Purchase Order' is disabled.

Hi Sanjeev,

I have check it's PR which is already generated but still I'm not able to create PO from PROMAN for service activity and for external activity as well. Is there any further config required for that or for service and external activity PR, we can't create PO from PROMAN.

As I have seen in help.sap that only 'MATERIAL' PO creation is mention from PROMAN, no service and external activity PO creation mention from PROMAN so kindly update me on that.

I will appreciate for your immediate response on that.

What is the control key on your NWA?  You need to generate a PR first then use MM to convert it to a PO.  If you have the configuration set up properly then it will generate a PR (it may or may not have a reservation).

Hi Faizan,

From last screen Generate reservation/PReq is enabled. Try to create Preq and then try to create .the PO.

Hi Faizan

Please go the quantity tab "Qties" in CNMM transaction and then select option of "Generate Purchase order". I guess it will work that way.

Hi Faizan,

1. Since I see res/PR checked in snapshot along Generate res/PR enabled, I assume only reservation is created not PR. Still you can check in MD53 once by inputting PR number if find to make sure PR exist.

2. Check if any release strategy is assigned to PR, till PR is released you would not be able to convert PR to PO. ME54N.

Hi Vengaiah,

As my activity is service with no material assigned so why reservation will be created and within activity detail, I have seen PR is already created with no release strategy on PR.

I have also released activity but still not able to create PO. Could you please tell me what could be possible reason.
