Table CE1XXXX has records with record type "A" even though transfer of sales order to COPA is not activated ?

I checked T code : KEKF ( "CO-PA active flag for transfer of Incoming sales order" ) . there it has not been activated for co area/fiscal year/operating concern . But still i can see record type A records in CE1XXXX table  .

Does this means record type A will be created every time i create a Sales order even though SO transfer has not been activated ?

note : I checked Tcode : KE4TS and it gives successfully written records as "0". All in error

Hi Nemo,

Record type A should not be created unless KEKF is active.

Maybe it was active in the past and then somebody changed the customizing. So the record type A could have been posted in the past if KEKF was active then.

If KEKF is inactive now could you post new sales orders and check if record type A is being created ?

Thanks Waman for your reply.

This does not solve my problem. Please go through the below analysis:-

1. I checked last month sales order which appear in CE1XXXX table . please note: there has not been any configuration changes recently .

2. Then i checked the same sales order in T code : KE4TS , where the same sales order is in error with message type KE480 .

I have checked the system and confirmed by business that these changes were last made in 2004.

So my question is still the same : that if it is in error in KE4TS ( as transfer of Sales order to COPA has not been activated) then how come the record type A can appear in CE1XXXX table ?

Please let me know if i am missing something or i need to check some thing more ..

Hi Nemo,

It is just not possible that you can post record type A if KEKF is inactive.

If the customizing was not changed then was this data copied from another system via client copy ?  If not then do you have a reproducible example where you can create a sales order and it posts record type A despite KEKF inactive ?

Hi Waman,

I will write this to SAP and let me check with them too as how it happens . But just for your information there is no client copy in Production live system.

Soon i will share the SAP's Analysis too ..
