Hello experts,

The explanation for Text field in V/03 is as Following. But I still did not understand the impact if this field is marked (see the screen shot). Would you please give me some examples? Thanks.

Text field for fast entry

Determines whether the text for a field appears on the fast entry screens. The fast entry screens are the initial screens you see when you create or maintain condition records.

Procedure

If you want the text to appear as an item, mark the field.

It is very simple, really:

Here I use MVGR5 to appear as text field.

In VK11 then I have:

As you can see the description of the entered value of MVGR5 is displayed in the Description field in VK11/VK12/VK13.

That is all, usually I don't care which item field will be set as text field when I create pricing tables: I typically have 4-6 fields per table and you can only have one of these set as text field... not a very exciting and useful feature in such cases.
