SAP Data Intelligence Roadmap/Vision/ Product Future

Good day,

We have heard that SAP Data Intelligence will be combined with SAP Datawarehouse CLoud and that the on-prem version of SAP Data Intelligence will no longer exist.

Is this true or what is the general strategy for SAP Data Intelligence?

You will have to wait for the update of the roadmap of Q4 to get a confirmation. No decision has been published on this. Those are speculations for the moment.

Hi there,
as part of our strategy we are bringing SAP Data Warehouse Cloud and SAP Data Intelligence Cloud closer together. We are doing that in a service oriented way, so that it becomes more seamless for a customer to use both in combination with each other. This has already started, e.g. there is a "Data Flow" component available in SAP Data Warehouse Cloud which is based on an embedded SAP DI.

Overall it is part of our Data Management strategy to invest in cloud which doesn't mean that on premise won't be supported anymore. However innovations will go into cloud first. There is no end of life data for SAP Data Intelligence.

is the info from one's own "knowledge" or is this also so somewhere lookupable?
But will the on-prem still be there or will there only be the cloud variant?
