Cabbage cutlet

Ingredients

2 cups Cabbage grated

1 cup Rice flour

3 tsp Curd

3 Green chopped chili

2 tsp grated ginger
-
3 tsp Curry leaves chopped

2 tsp Coriander powder
-
2 tsp cumin powder
-
2 tsp cumin seeds
-
Chopped coriander
-
2 tsp Red chili flakes

Oil for frying
Cooking Instructions

Grate cabbage.

Add chopped onions into cabbage.
Mix well. Then add salt, combine & mix well. Cover & allow to rest for 10 min. -

After 10 min.. cabbage turns soft & releases moisture. Squeeze the water from salted cabbage. The cabbage has reduced in size.

Now add all seasonings like curd, ginger, cumin power, coriander powder, cumin seeds, red chili flakes, chopped green coriander,curry leaves.etc.Then add1cup rice flour into cabbage. Combine all ingredients & mix well.

The mixture should be like into a dough form. Now grease oil over palms. Take one dough ball make it flatten over palms to make tikki.

Prepare all cutlets/tikkis in the same way.

Heat oil in a pan. Once oil is hot, drop tikkis one by one. Deep fry until golden brown & crisp from both sides.

Take out fried cutlets/tikkis into a plate lined with kitchen napkin.

Crispy Tikkis are ready to serve. Serve hot with green chutney & tomato sauce.
