Cozy Up Fabrics & Patterns

Happy Wednesday!–Today I am happy to share my brand new Cozy Up line of fabric as well as the patterns I have designed to go with this group.

The patterns mentioned in this blog post can be found in my Etsy Shop.

Cozy Up will ship to quilt shops in August.  This week is the last week that quilt shops can order Cozy Up fabrics to guarantee receiving their full order.  Because of this, if you’d like your favorite quilt shop to carry these fabrics, be sure to let them know right away so they can order within the next day or two!  I have been noticing more and more quilt shops offering preorders for fabrics and kits which is awesome.  But it also means you’d want to get your orders in right away with your fave shop….check to see if your local shop is offering preorders for precuts, yardage and/or kits!

This post is going to be full of lots of photos as I am going to talk about all of the new patterns with this line.  Cozy Up is my first fall themed line and I have so much fun designing fall patterns to go with these fabrics.

The colors are perfect for fall…they are warm, and cozy…just like the name implies.  Those pin dots are so versatile and I have been so enjoying the buffalo check in this line.  The little words fabric features names of trees which was so fun considering my husband is a 3rd generation family lumber company owner.

There are 5 new patterns for this line plus a bonus free 6th pattern.

Let’s start with the kit quilt for this collection, Roadside Harvest:

Roadside Harvest is a row quilt featuring adorable leaves, pumpkins, and cute trucks.  It is such a fun quilt for fall.  The blues in this collection are so pretty!

Roadside Harvest finishes at 72″ x 80″.  It is fat eighth friendly.  I always include complete fabric requirements within each of my listings so you can easily see what you will need.  Visit this link for the complete fabric requirements and/or to purchase the PDF pattern.  Paper patterns are also a

The pumpkins in Roadside Harvest are pieced using the buffalo check fabric in various colors.  This makes them so nice to piece!  And I’ve been using the pin dot for all of the bindings.

And, like I said, this is the Moda boxed kit quilt for this collection.  That means this quilt is available in one of the adorable Moda keepsake boxes.

Next up is my Leaves quilt:

This is another fat eighth quilt pattern.  You can see the fabric requirements and/or purchase the PDF here. Paper patterns are also available.

It was a lot of fun coming up with a different leaf type quilt.  My Maple Charm pattern is a very popular pattern of mine…I know I love a good leaf quilt!

I used the white on white pin dot from this collection for the background.  You have heard me say it so many times recently but, if you love the white on whites from my collections, be sure to purchase them right away.  They always sell out quickly.

I used the green pin dot from the collection for the binding and I really like it against that dark gray floral border.  The Leaves quilt finishes at 66″ x 76″.

The next quilt I’d like to share is Everlasting.

I am probably not supposed to have favorites, but I love the way this quilt turned out.  It is so cozy and happy and warm..stars and checkerboard…how fun!

Everlasting uses 20 fat quarters and finishes at 74″ x 92″.  Click here for complete fabric requirements and/or to purchase the Everlasting pattern in PDF form. Paper patterns are also available.

The gray pin dot was a perfect binding fabric for this quilt.  If you ever wonder about the white that matches my collections, it’s Moda Bella solid in the color 9900-200.  I also have an ongoing list of Bella Solids that go with my collections underneath the Matching solids tab at the top of my blog.

Pumpkin Festival is the next quilt to share:

This quilt is a jelly roll friendly quilt that finishes at 72″ x 92″  Click here for complete fabric requirements and/or to purchase the PDF pattern. Paper patterns are also available.

I used the orange pin dot fabric for the pumpkins, the gray for the pumpkin stems, and the gray again for the binding.  Isn’t that backing fabric so pretty for fall. =)

Acorns is the next quilt to share.  There is a pretty little acorn print fabric in the Cozy Up collection and I knew I wanted to design a little acorn pattern.

Acorns uses charm packs and finishes at 70″ x 82″.  Click here for complete fabric requirements and/or to purchase the PDF version of the pattern.  Paper patterns are also available.

I am a big fan of the green clover fabric bordering this quilt.  It is also super pretty in the blue and the gray shades.

In addition to selling the patterns individually, there is a discounted bundle pack when purchasing all 5 of the new patterns.  You will find it here in the PDF version.  Paper pattern bundles are also available.

The last quilt is the freebie quilt I mentioned at the beginning of my post.  This quilt pattern is not available right now but will be released when the collection comes out.  The name of this quilt is Autumnal.

I will share more about this quilt later…it uses the buffalo check for the pumpkins which simplifies the piecing a lot!  Scoop up that buffalo check when it comes out. =)

I hope you have enjoyed this peek at my brand new Cozy Up fabrics and new quilt patterns. =)  I will be back tomorrow to share the 3rd row pattern for the Serendipity quilt along.  Have a wonderful day! Corey
