2024 Counter Club Event Calendar | Best of the Best CVC List
Highlighting the top funds in the Counter Club for 2023 and our program of events coming in 2024: online events, deal parties and a massive three day long Counter V conference.
We are taking Counter Club to the next level in 2024 by focusing on industries and branching out events into new global locations. We are ecstatic to share our 2024 Counter Club calendar of events from a London Summit in May to the big show, Counter V, September 25-27.
Scroll to see the “2023 Best of the Best CVC List,” a select group of funds who lead categories in investment pace, deal velocity and financial orientation.
But first, a look back at our Holiday Party. Thank you to Garaje for having us and the CVC community for coming out in your ugly Christmas sweaters.
Counter Club 2024 Calendar of Events
We have a full schedule of online events and collaborative deal sharing events throughout 2024. During deal sharing events, aka Deal Parties, CVCs will discuss trends within a vertical and share companies they have recently connected with. Industry focused events will be amplified by our new Ambassador program, more information to come.
As always, our events are open only to corporate VCs and members of the Counter Club (https://counterclub.vc).

2023 Counter Club Superlatives
To wrap things up, recognizing a few fan favorites from sessions throughout year:
Spiciest Presentation: Chris Langford’s Genesis of Lowe’s Ventures
As the keynote speaker at the Emerging CVC Summit this past June, Chris Langford, fmr Managing Director of Lowe’s Ventures, didn’t hold anything back. You had to be there to see it 😉
Most insightful Presentation: Prof. Ilya Strebulaev’s The Venture Mindset
We got more than a few requests for the world-renowned Stanford professor’s slides on the Venture Mindset: How to Beat Competition—luckily you can access them in the Counter IV summary package. We can’t wait for The Venture Mindset book to drop this May.
Best on stage chemistry: Amy Banse and Michelle Gonzalez
It’s no surprise that the Counter IV fireside chat with Amy Banse, fmr. Head of Comcast Ventures and Michelle Gonzalez, CVP and Global Head of M12, Microsoft's Venture Fund, went so well: These CVC trailblazers used to be colleagues at Comcast Ventures.
From all of us at Counterpart Ventures, we wish you a happy holidays and festive season. Look forward to seeing you in the new year at the next Counter Club event.
