Distribution: (P. tiarella) Panama, Ecuador in Santa Elena, Esmeraldas and Galapagos Islands in Wolf I, Floreana (Post Office) Bay (Fraser, 1938). Native: Western Atlantic. Introduced: Hawaii, New Zealand, Galapagos and East Coast USA.(Calder et al., 2003). Mexico, Bahía Santa Elena and Galapagos Island (Calder et al., 2021).
