The list of four abilities demonstrated during the gameplay preview only foreshadows what developers have prepared for players. All powers are complex and serve more than one purpose in the game. For example, with the Fuse ability, you can create weapons from items found in the woods and fight any encountered enemy. But if your Link needs to cross the river, you can use his Fuse power to create a boat!
The following list presents powers and abilities in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
- Ascend Ability lifts Link upwards even through ceilings to rich higher ground.
- During the exploration, you can use this to climb up on the sky islands that are high in the clouds.
- Fuse Ability allows combining two objects together.
- For example, if you find a rock and a tree branch, merge them to create a decent weapon.
- Recall Ability gives Link the power to reverse the movement of any object.
- In the official gameplay video, we saw a falling sky rock. The game’s producer, Eiji Aonuma, used it as a lift, with Recall reversing the rock to its previous location in the sky.
- Ultrahand Ability is similar to Fuse but allows Link to merge objects and structures.
- You are able to attach and disconnect big structures even to create Vehicles!
