American Raptors Signs Ramiro Moyano

The American Raptors signed Argentina international Ramiro Moyano for the Super Rugby Americas season. The 32-year-old fullback (33 in May) is 5’11” and 190 lbs.

Ramiro was born in Tucumán, Argentina, and played for Lince Rugby Club.

He played with the Argentina U19s in 2009 and the U20s the following year in the Junior World Rugby U20s Championship.  He made his Argentina National Team debut on 22 May 2011 against Chile and the last of his 36 caps was against New Zealand on 28 November 2020.

Ramiro also played with the Pampas XV from 2011 to 2015, the Argentina Jaguars from 2012 to 2014, and the Argentina Sevens in 16 competitions from 2012 through 2016. From 2016 through 2019 he played with the Jaguares.

From 2019 through 2021 he played with Toulon in the Top 14 and during the 2021-2022 season, he played with Edinburgh in the United Rugby Championship.
