Cardboard box of Veuve Clicquot champagne rosé brut

CHAMPAGNE VEUVE CLICQUOT faces fierce competition in the market. It needs to win over more and more customers, forcing the major champagne brands to stand out, to be at the cutting edge of innovation, to surprise. This cardboard case must use reasonable cardboard and its accessories must be more ecological and easy to recycle (accessory easy to separate from cardboard...)

A luxury product

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin is a French Champagne house based in Reims, specialising in premium products. It was founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot and is one of the largest champagne houses in the world. Madame Clicquot is credited with major breakthroughs, creating the first known vintage champagne in 1810 and inventing the champagne stirring process to clarify champagne in 1816. In 1818, she invented the first known blended rosé champagne by mixing still red and white champagne wines. This process is still used today by most champagne producers. The company was acquired in 1986 by Louis Vuitton (now part of the LVMH group formed in 1987) and continues to expand worldwide.

“TO REACH MILLENNIALS, CHAMPAGNE MUST BREAK THE CODES”

The conception

The structure of the cardboard box is inspired by the pleated skirt, with a narrow top and a wide bottom. At the structure reduces the cost of materials and and minimises the use of glue. The cardboard box is intended to present a series of illustrations by José Luis Ágreda on the theme of dance.
