Description

Here we have a set of 3 specimens from the McAlpine Mine, Peñon Blanco Peak, Coulterville Mining District, Tuolumne Co., California, USA. It is a gold mine.
The keystoneite is a tiny yellow speck on the first specimen, visible in pic 2-5. The size of the second specimen (pics 6-8) is 4 x 5.5 x 2 cm, the size of the third specimen (pics 9-10) is 2 x 3 x 1.3 cm

The lead-grey, metallic mineral is unidentified. Could be hessite or petzite (with some luck - an analysis maybe worthwhile). Some brassy pyrite is also present.

Comes with Cureton Mineral Co. label.
