Description

An unusually big specimen, very rich of long davreuxite crystals to 30 mm, with the characteristic light cream colour on a white quartz matrix, and associated to black hematite. The type locality of davreuxite is the close by Ottre, but Salmchâteau produced far better crystals, such as these.

Typical material, collected in the late 1960’s by geologist Phillippe Cuvelier. Ex Phillippe Cuvelier specimen.
