Challenge - Stay home, share 3 travel photos (Day 16)

Today in "Stay at home and share 3 photos of your travels" I'm flying to Angola. Thank you @psos for giving me a reason to revisit my photos :)

Elephant peeking @ The Kissama National Park - 2010 (Angola)

The Kissama National Park is located about 75 km south of Luanda and is probably the best known national park in Angola. I was lucky enough to have seen elephants. Despite being in the park, they live freely and we as visitors should behave to not scare them.

Africa colors @ The Kissama National Park - 2010 (Angola)

I'm suspicious, but the giant cactus and the color contrast between the green vegetation and the orange/red road is something that we can't find that often. I asked for a stop to shot some photos.

Sand dollar @Sangano beach - 2010 (Angola)

When my mother visited Angola in 1997 she brought me a sand dollar like the one in the photo. In 2010 when I went to Angola, I found this sand dollar on the beach and brought to offer her. As they are Obviously, we don't have those in Portugal, as they live in shallow tropical to temperate water places!
With the help of this post, I found that the species is Rotula deciesdigitatus, and the name means something like: "little wheel with 10 digits". Preety cool, right!?
