PAHS Pet of the Week: Meet Chief! Chocolate Lab who is Playful, Active

FROM PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER (PAHS)

Chief is a 2-and-1/2-year-old male Chocolate Lab who has already been neutered. He is a really gorgeous dog who appears to be a pure bred. Chief’s coat is a rich chocolate color; and he weighs 81 pounds. Like any Lab, he is active, playful, and would appreciate life best with an active family who included him in all their outdoor adventures. Chief would need a nice fenced yard where he could safely play. Chief would be fine with older children; due to his size we wouldn’t recommend that he be in a home with small children. Chief is a very nice dog who deserves a ‘do over’ on life!

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
