Hebe Vernicosa

Hebe Vernicosa, commonly known as Varnished Hebe is a small, bushy, rounded evergreen shrub which has small oval shaped glossy green leaves and in the months of June and July the Hebe Vernicosa blooms lovely flowers spikes of white and pale blue.

Often planted in a variety of areas, including banks or slopes, the front of flower beds and borders and can make a great pot plant for balconies or non grass gardens. Tolerant of salt and pollution which means it can be planting in city or coastal gardens and suits almost any other planting scheme.

Hebe Vernicosa care

Plant the Hebe Vernicosa in a sunny, partially shaded location with moist, well drained soil where it will thrive. Known to be easy to grow and minimal pruning makes this Hebe great for all levels of ability. In spring simply cut back any branches which are dead or damaged to concentrate the growth on the healthy structure.
