English: This picture was taken in Possession Island (Crozet Archipelago) at the site named "the elephant seal pool". This picture was taken in december 2002 by Nicolas Servera. This picture is an enlargement of the picture “Arctocephalus tropicalis Crozet fight 01.JPG”. You can see a male of the subantarctic fur seal (Arctocephalus tropicalis) during a confrontation with another one. The blue arrows show two old scares, one on the the top of the neck, one on the foreleg.

Cette image est un agrandissement de l'image « Arctocephalus tropicalis Crozet fight 01.JPG». Vous pouvez voir un mâle otarie subantarctique (Arctocephalus tropicalis) au cours d'un affrontement symbolique avec un autre mâle.
