Yesterday marked the launch of the RTX 4080 Super, and to mark the occasion we’re bringing you four tests of custom models. However, to accompany this launch NVIDIA has a little driver in store to support the card, the GeForce 551.31. Let’s find out what it does for you!
GeForce 551.31, what’s new :
New features include, of course, support for the RTX 4080 Super, NVIDIA’s latest card. However, the greens have also taken the opportunity to add a few new features. These include RTX Video HDR support, with an auto setting for RTX Video HDR. Finally, the chameleon adds an Ultra Low Latency mode for DirectX 12 games!
As far as fixes are concerned, NVIDIA has taken up the same points as in version 551.23, i.e. :
- Forza Horizon 4 crashes/freezes following the application of Ansel/Freestyle filters [4253513].
As for known issues, the same applies, with the following points:
- With an RTX 4060 Ti, the display may flicker randomly with a black bar at the top of the screen when using a desktop application. [ 4239893].
- Horizontal stripes may appear when cloning a G-Sync display on an HDMI monitor [4103923/4343427]
