In the 50 m Rifle 3 Positions Mixed Team finals, the Swiss turned out to be better than the Austrians. In the 25 m Team Women Pistol competition – Ukraine defeated Poland and claimed gold medal.

The teams of Switzerland and Austria played in the match for the gold medal in the 50 m Rifle 3 Positions Mixed Team competition. It was an intriguing duel. Jan Lochbihler and Nina Christen from the Swiss team defeated Andreas Thum and Sheileen Waibel from the Austrian team and deservedly won contest.

The bronze medal match was between Norway and Denmark. The former team of Jenny Stene and Simon Claussen won against the team composed of Steffen Olsen and Stephanie Grundsoee.

The Polish representatives (Klaudia Breś, Joanna Wawrzonowska, Julita Borek) did a great job in the qualifications to the 25 m Team Women Pistol finals and competed for gold with the Ukrainians: Olena Kostevych, Anastasiia Nimets and Yuliiya Korostylova. The final match was very interesting. It started with draws.

In the third series did the Ukrainian team took the lead. In the end, they didn’t let go of it. The match ended with the result 16:10. The teams of Hungary and Germany competed in the match for the bronze medal. Although the initial phase of the duel was quite even, in the end the Germans reached for the championship title. The clash ended with the score 16:12: Sandra Reitz, Michelle Skieries and Doreen Vennekamp have reasons to be happy.

There will still be plenty of sports emotions in Wrocław. Today (29.06) qualifications in the 25 m Rapid Fire Pistol and finals in the 50 m Rifle 3 Positions of the men’s and women’s teams are planned.
