Farm) and Grace Phipps (Teen Beach Movie), but we’re going to assume they left their Mickey Mouse ears at home while making this slasher film from comic-book writer and first-time filmmaker Adam Egypt Mortimer. According to the movie’s official synopsis, Some Kind of Hate concerns “a troubled teen who is subjected to severe bullying, and accidentally conjures Moira Karp (McCormick). Once a teenage girl pushed to suicide, Moira is now an unstoppable force on a mission of gruesome retribution. But when she goes too far, he must prevent her from spiraling out of control.” Some Kind of Hate will premiere at the Stanley Film Festival, which is taking place at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colo., April 30 to May 3.
