You might think performers don’t notice you when you’re in the audience, but 3 Doors Down’s Brad Arnold proved otherwise when he recently stopped mid-song to reprimand a concert attendee. When the frontman saw an audience member at the band’s Broomfield, Colorado show push a female concertgoer on Tuesday, he wasn’t going to continue without confronting the guy.

“Hey homie!” Arnold shouted from the stage. “You don’t hit a woman. You just pushed a woman out of the way to get in a fight, you dick.”

As if a lesson in manners from a rockstar wasn’t enough, Arnold told the man to “Get out of here!” before having him escorted out and going on with the show. The crowd cheered for Arnold, and 3 Doors Down guitarist Chris Henderson wrote on Facebook that the instance marked, “Just another reason I’m proud to be in this band!!”
