Sonoran White Tepary Bean (Phaseolus acutifolius)

Native to the Sonoran desert, tepary beans are among the most drought hardy and heat tolerant domesticated plants in the world. Wild teparies still exist in the wild and shatter easily as a seed dispersal mechanism. Some cultivars still carry this trait, but the Sonoran White less so, making it a good choice for farms and gardens. The small and medium size beans are prolific and range from bright white to light green colors. High in protein and fiber. Direct sow. Plant spacing 8”. 65 days. Grown by Pueblo Seed. Certified Organic.
