FMU baseball hosted the national Bolivian Baseball team at Harry T. Moore Field, Thursday afternoon.

FMU Head Coach Tino Burgos, and assistant coaches, Andre Payne, and David Martinez met with the coaches from Bolivia and co-facilitated a practice at Harry T. Moore Field.

Bolivia is steadily developing competitive baseball in their country. The national Bolivian Baseball team recently participated in The World Comes to Palm Beach International Tournament and will be participating in the Pan American games in spring 2019.  As part of their effort to improve the quality of their baseball training program, the Bolivian team reached out to Coach Burgos. "It's an honor and a great privilege to have hosted the coaches and players of Bolivia. The players participated in some fundamental drills that they can continue to utilize in practice to help further develop their game."
As the effort to improve the baseball training opportunities in Bolivia continues, FMU Baseball will be there in support.
