This is a tufted perennial grass that grows to about 80cm in height. I found it growing in the south east corner of the reserve. Once we have removed the weeds from appropriate areas in the reserve I think we could encourage the regrowth of native grasses by spreading the seeds from species such as this. (May 2008)
