Chatham County offices, courthouse will be closed Thursday

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. — Due to impact from Hurricane Idalia, all Chatham County Government offices, aside from essential services, will be closed on Thursday, August 31. A decision about government office hours for Friday will be made Thursday after assessing the levels of community damage from the storm.

Anyone who has business scheduled at the J. Tom Coleman Courthouse on Thursday will need to call their specific court to get rescheduling information.

Chatham County employees are also asked to call the 855 phone number on their ID Badge for closures and business hour changes for Thursday.
