SUMMARY
Thallus crustose, inconspicuous, thin to scurfy, glaucous, greenish or grey. Photobiont Trentepohlia.
Anamorph: no information available.
Teleomorph: ascomata apothecia, 0.2-0.5 mm diam., erumpent in bark, rarely becoming superficial, scattered to confluent, pale orange, flesh-coloured or pale brown. True exciple thick, smooth, even, rarely uneven-wavy, cream to brownish or yellowish pink. Disc to 0.25 mm diam., deeply concave, pale to deep orange or brownish. Interascal tissue of pseudoparaphyses, initially attached at each end but the apices becoming free, narrow, the apical cells sometimes weakly moniliform. Asci thin-walled, without apical structures, 8-spored. Ascospores 14-28 (-31) × 5-9 μm, ellipsoidal-fusiform, the ends sometimes slightly attenuated, hyaline, thin-walled, sparingly muriform with 6 or more cells in optical view; septa oblique, rarely regularly transverse, without an epispore or gelatinous sheath.
