Recently described small spotted aloe from southern Madagascar with red flowers. Clumping over time. Leaves are triangular and dark green to brown with reddish highlights and many oblong spots. The inflorescence may have 0-2 branches and racemes are laxly flowered. This species was described in 2002 and is apparently related to A. deltoideodonta, which has shorter, wider leaves and shorter inflorescences.
