Kirk Rueter, Murray State baseball hall of famer joins the program to speak of his 13-year major league baseball career and how he got his start when legendary coach Johnny Reagan brought the lefty to MSU in 1989. By the time he was a junior, Rueter was the OVC Pitcher of the Year. Drafted by the Montreal Expos in 1991, he debuted about three years later in the big leagues where he won his first eight games. Rueter retired in 2005 as the winningest lefthander in San Francisco Giants history. Rueter also talks about pitching in the 2002 world series and how he got the nickname "Woody".
