How to fertilize Haworth's Aeonium
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Haworth's Aeonium after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

How to root a beheaded succulent? (ID confirmation also appreciated!) I got this (suspected) aeonium for Christmas and have already done some damage. While trying to ID it I knocked it off the bed and the whole top snapped off🥲 I know there’s still hope, I’m just not sure how to proceed. I now have the top aside to callus, how long should that process take? After it’s callused and placed in soil, do I need to water it or just wait until roots form? Final question, is there a chance the stem will pop out new growth? Or would it need a remaining leaf to absorb light? #Aeonium #SucculentSquad

Sad succulents Help, I have 2 of these in a container with several other succulents. The other succulents are doj g fine, but these 2 are not happy about the move indoors for the winter. I've added grown lights in the last week, and am more carefully monitoring moisture level. Any suggestions? Can I save it 😢

Mealy bugs on Calla Lilly I was wondering how one would get mealy bugs off of a calla lily with so many leaves infected. I also have a Haworth’s Aeonium that has mealy bugs. I used rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip to get them off the Aeonium. However, I still find some here and there. My main concern is the calla lily though. Any advice?

My #HaworthAeonium bloom is thriving! I shared when I was concerned that the bloom got too heavy and broke, it wouldn’t survive - but look! She’s opening! 😍😍 so happy I didn’t have to miss out on this bloom. I did a MAJOR trim on this girl, she got real leggy and sunburnt (you can see her burnt babies) they all have roots so I’m hopeful it’ll bring back the bushy-ness. #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #SucculentSquad #HaworthsAeonium

Leaves wilting? Hey all! I just got this plant within the week. I’ve been keeping it in a sunny spot during the days. I haven’t watered it yet because when I bought it they said it had just been watered. But now the leaves are doing this and I don’t know why? Please help!!

Help I have no idea what is going on. I wonder if this could be sunburn since this is the side that faces my window. But the sun is not as intense as it was during the summer. It started with the shrinkage and now the dark marks. Some of my other succulents are getting this as well.

Plant id help I got this at my local plant shop and had no id. I asked the owner and all she could tell me was that it's part of the aeonium family, just mutated. Greg can't id it right. I do say, it looks pretty cool though. I also have another one that has an id but it can't be identified here which is a haworthia 'shirayuki emaki'which is translated to snow white from what I read about it. Not sure what i can do to change it. #haworthia #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newgrowth #growlights #planttherapy #aeonium
Care Summary for Haworth's Aeonium
Haworth's Aeonium
Greg recommends:
0.5 cups every 12 days
< 1ft from a window
Repot after 2x growth
Based on the 4” pot your plant is in, and that it doesn’t get direct sunlight.
What other plant parents say
A very hardy plant and hard to kill. If it is provided with good amount of direct but filtered sunlight (at least 4 or 5 hours) it will grow fast and end up looking absolutely stunning. It will stretch upward and end up being very top heavy if you don’t place it somewhere with good amount of light. If it’s happy the leaves look so beautiful with many colors.
