Philodendron auriculatum
About Philodendron auriculatum
Philodendrons grow aerial roots that grip the bark of trees, allowing them to grow over 20 feet tall! Their leaves change shape as they climb and can grow larger than a dinner plate. Fossils show Philodendrons growing as far back as 30 million years ago when South America was still connected to Antarctica! ❄️

Finding light for None in your home
Philodendron auriculatum can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Philodendron auriculatum in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Philodendron auriculatum
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Philodendron auriculatum after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Day two of guttation for Philo El Chaco? I watered my #Philodendron El Chaco Thursday, and we are on day 2 of continuous guttation. I noticed when looking through the light that one of my leaves are thinning/turning yellow. This is the first time I’ve watered it since purchasing this past Monday, and the soil was dry when I did water. He’s been by a humidifier and next to my Silver Dragon Alocasia. How do I help it? Just wait it out? He’s in the original nursery pot still with drainage, and I let him drain completely after watering before putting back in his spot. Help me save him😭🥲 #PhilodendronElChocoRed #PlantAddict #Guttation #NewPlantMom

GOOD MORNING #GregGang (said in the voice of Robin Williams 😅)! It seems I think my best first thing in the morning. so, I’ve got two additional group suggestions. #DiscountCode will be, you guessed it! A place to share current discount codes or deals to favorite online places and/or products! Make sure to use this tag so your thoughtfulness stands out. And for those of you who have seen my recent posts and comments, you’ll know that #IKEAGreenhouseAddicts was inevitable. 😂 Yes, there is a fantastic Facebook group, but we can also share our own builds here, link products you’ve found that are must haves, ask questions, clever DIY, the sky is the limit! This post sponsored by the fact that I already woke up and bought shelves from Modern Aqua for the Milsbo Wide that I bought yesterday (current time 7:40 EST😂😂). So if anyone is keeping count, that’s 3 IKEA cabinets purchased in one week, and a 4th arriving because their customer service is ✨top notch✨. I thought of a third group yesterday afternoon, but can’t remember it at the moment so don’t be surprised if you see another from me today 😂 (Pic of my latest acquisition 😬) #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PLANTMAFIA #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #GrowLights #PlantCorner #PlantShelfie #Corinne #InteriorDesign #cpclubthursday #AlocasiaAddicts #Philodendron #SucculentSquad #GreggersSupportingGreggers

New leaves! My #philodendron Paradiso Verde put out its first new leaf since being home. It isn't verigated yet but it's still brand new. I hope it gets all the light it needs outside! My #philodendron Pink princess leaf finally fully opened it's leaf and I love it! My #colocasia illustris is growing a baby plant and it's colors are stunning. I can't be happier. Any new leaves for you this Sunday? #newgrowth #newleafalert #greggang #plantsmakepeoplehappy

For those who've been "here" and had success chopping & propping a PPP...Should I top her? Or just let her go? If I do, what's best? Water prop for a few weeks? Or let it callous & plant in dirt? #pinkprincessphilodendron #plantsmakepeoplehappy #happyplants #philodendron #chopandprop #ultrakoreanfir

#Philodendron Hey there! So we knocked over our philodendron and now have two strong pieces. One in the soil still and one out of the soil. What’s the best way to propagate this so it keeps growing nice and strong? It’s been growing so beautifully.

Hey guys, went to Walmart today and saw a plant that I believe it to be a philodendron white princess, not entirely sure though. It needed some saving! Went to the customer service and asked for a discount because the poor thing has ripped leaves and soil so dry its been forever since its gotten water 😭 it was originally $24.99 and I got it reduced to $10. So anytime you see a plant with any kind of damage you can ask for a discount on any item that has damage to it. So welcome home to my new philodendron! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #philodendron @Sassylimey

Can anyone help me get this healthy? Or healthy looking? I don’t know what is happening 😭 it was right under a grow light but I moved it thinking it was getting burnt 🤔 #Philodendron
