Zimmermann instruments were famously used in Tchaikovsky’s orchestra in Russia in the later 19th century. This horn is a later instrument, made in the 1920’s in Markneukirchen, Germany. It is a single F horn with an Eb slide. It is missing its crook, but builders like Richard Seraphinoff or Miles O’Malley could make one and the u-shape F slide.
This horn is being sold as-is. It needs a cleaning, rotor alignment, fairly large but easily reachable dents in the bell tail, a crack on the tail which will require a patch, and some creases in the bell flare.
