The Haunting

Established in 1827, the Genesee County Poor House (originally a working farm) soon became a refuge for some of society's less fortunate. Widows and orphans mingled with the mentally ill and the unclaimed dead were buried on the property. With over 1,700 documented deaths and hundreds not recorded, it's no wonder Haunted North America rated it as the second most haunted site in the United States.

Public ghost hunts, private hunts, guided tours & more!

Winter Quarantined Hunts- This is a private ghost hunt opportunity for your own group of 2-10 people. December through March - available dependent upon weather - 4-hr option is $500. Age restrictions apply

Mid-Week Quarantined Hunts- This is a private ghost hunt opportunity for your own group of 2-10 people. April through September and November & December - available select Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 4-hr option is $500, or make it an 8 hour for $850. Age restrictions apply

Quarantine Hunt - This is a private 8 hour ghost hunt opportunity for your own group of 2-15 people for $1499 available on select Friday nights only, April through September. Age restrictions apply

Captive -Six hour public hunt is $70pp and held on select Fridays and Saturdays. After Orientation - explore the building and capture any paranormal activity that may occur.

ICU - Five hour public hunt is $60pp and held on select Fridays and Saturdays. After Orientation - explore the building and capture any paranormal activity that may occur.

Detained - Four hour public hunt is $50pp and held on select Fridays and Saturdays. After Orientation - explore the building and capture any paranormal activity that may occur.

Psych Hold -Three hour public hunt throughout the month of October. Up to four time slots each date in October- pricing varies per time slot. After Orientation - explore the building and capture any paranormal activity that may occur.
