I managed to grab a couple of sample images from the Canon website from the new EOS 5D Mark III before it ground to a halt. There are more but haven’t been made available yet. Happy pixel peeping!
***UPDATE*** – I’m getting a lot of hits from search engines from people looking for sample images. I grabbed these as the site was really struggling. That initial demand is long over so if you would like to visit the original source you can find it here: http://web.canon.jp/imaging/eosd/samples/eos5dmk3/
Thanks for stopping by.

Looking good, but I’ll let the fuss die down and wait for any teething problems to be ironed out before I rush out to trade in my MKII.
I still wish they’d just bring out a manual version though, with no video function and all the other bells and whistles. 😉
Always a wise move. As much as I’d love one, the price is a bit too much for my wallet at the moment. A pre-order price of $3500 (whatever that translates to over here) is best spent on other things and I don’t think it would make that much difference to my photography, it would just be more convenient in certain situations.
I am intrigued by the video capabilities (and those of the 5DII to be fair) but then I don’t own any IS lenses(!)
