acostumbrarse vs acostumbrar What is the difference ?

"Acostumbrarse" means you get used to doing something. As in "Me acostumbré a estudiar todos los días" (I got used to studying every day".
"Acostumbrar" usually means to make somebody else get used to doing something. "Acostumbré a mi perro a dormir en el salón" (I made my dog get used to sleeping in the living room).
There is another use for "acostumbrar" but it's more formal and I honestly never use it.
"Acostumbro a estudiar todos los días" (I usually study every day). It's too formal and you'd better say "Suelo estudiar todos los días" or even "Estudio todos los días".
