Mandar = send / command.
- Le mandé un mensaje.
- I sent him a message.

- Yo mando a los trabajadores de mi empresa; soy el jefe.

Pedir = Solicitar
La persona que “pide” (solicita) algo a alguien, puede tener o no tener autoridad sobre la otra persona.
* ¿Puedo pedirte (solicitarte) un favor?
* Luis le pidió a su mamá no salir a la calle durante la pandemia, porque ya es una señora de edad avanzada
Pedir = Ordenar
* Pedí (ordené) hamburguesas para cenar
Mandar = Ordenar
La persona que “manda” (ordena) hacer algo a alguien, generalmente tiene cierta autoridad
* El policía me mandó (me ordenó) que detuviera mi auto
* La mamá de Luis le mandó (le ordenó) limpiar su habitación
Mandar = Enviar (algo)
* UberEats mandó (envió) mi pedido a otra dirección
* Mi jefe me mandó (me envió) a recoger unos documentos
* Mi jefa me mandó (me envió) un correo electrónico
Mandar = Recetar
