How do you say this in Turkish?
What is the difference between "kötülemek" and "kötüleşmek?" Can you please provide examples? Also, why and how does the "Ş" change the meaning and are there other instances of this? thanks!

And can we add "le" to every verb that has "leş?"
for example: iyilemek, dertlemek, çocuklaşmak...etc.

@elifinan yeah indeed. tbh I think becoming familiar is more important than learning rules in order to become fluent in a langauge. I can't explain most English rules but I am familiar with what's correct and what's not, simply because I've watched enough movies that I've become familiar with English. This is what I hope I achieve in Turkish....to become familiar...not just memorize grammar and rules. That's why I'm watching TV shows and trying to find speaking partners / Turkish friends IRL.

Really? All of them you find boring? because usually English-speaking TV shows are shorter and faster than Turkish shows (2 hrs each episode lol). But it's your preference after all.
You could surely improve your English by practicing it. My Eng speaking wasn't so good a year ago but I entered a group of English-speaking foreigners here in Istanbul and my speaking skills are much better.

I might not agree so much with "living in the country is the easiest way to learn the language" because people usually tend to choose the easy way. for example i have been in Turkey for almost 5 years but I've unconsciously isolated myself from the Turkish community (since I had my school -- which was my whole social life -- in Arabic). Ofc course living in the country makes it easier, but I still find it hard to acquire friends here, mostly because each person is in his own environment (school, uni, work..etc.)

They are not as big and professional as TOG, so no need to be stressed. Also, some members there don't speak any English, just Turkish, so no need to worry about the English speaking much. A good starting event would be ÇayTalks or ÇorbadaTuzunOlsun (on Sundays). Time waits for no one, so get your courage push yourself :)

@elifinan Yes I meant that I want to join TOG but I don't know how. yani TOG'un sitesini açtım ve oradaki "Bize katıl" bir kısmı var ama o kısmı açınca "bulunmadı maalesef" yazıyor. O yüzden size sordum ki "katılmak için yardım ederseniz bana çok memnun olurum" Umarım Türkçem yetti 😅
