Vice President Hubert Humphrey pauses to sign his name for two unidentified Huron youngsters Monday during an outing with his 84-year-old mother, Mrs. Christine Humphrey. It is the first time since taking office that the vice president has been able to take his mother outside the nursing home where she lives. Humphrey is taking a long holiday weekend to rest and visit the relatives and friends in South Dakota City.
