By Booking this car, you accept and agree the car rental company Terms & conditions.
Our agency can only offer car rental services as a MAIN DRIVER OR HOLDER of a car rental reservation to: INTERNATIONAL TOURISTS OR CUBAN RESIDENTS ABROAD, in that sense we are NOT responsible if the rental can not be made because the holder does not meet these conditions and will be considered NO show, applying 100% penalty. In case a client wishes a relative, friend, etc. resident in Cuba to drive the rental car, we can only include him/her in the reservation as ADDITIONAL DRIVER with the corresponding extra charge.
CANCELLATIONS, MODIFICATIONS AND NO-SHOW POLICY:
- Cancellations made 16 days or more prior to the start of the reservation, no penalty will be charged.
- Cancellations made 15 and up to 8 days before the start of the reservation, a penalty corresponding to the payment of 3 days of the total amount of the reservation will be applied as a cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made 7 and up to 1 day before the beginning of the reservation, a penalty corresponding to 100% of the total amount of the rental will be applied for cancellation fees.
- It will be considered NO SHOW if the client does not show up to pick up the car within 5 hours after the requested time at all rental points except at the airport where the car will be kept only 3 hours after the arrival of the flight.
- NO SHOW: The client will pay a penalty of 100% of the total rental amount.
- If the client liquidates the car before the date indicated at the beginning of the rental, the amount corresponding to the days not used will not be refunded.
PRINCIPAL DRIVER:
- The client must present at the time of making the rental contract: his ORIGINAL passport, residence abroad and driver's license, otherwise the service will not be executed and will be considered a No Show.
- Minimum age required to drive: 21 years old.
- Maximum age required to rent a car: 80 years old.
- The client must have a driver's license issued at least 2 years in advance.
- The customer must show for the signature of the rental contract the printed Distal voucher (not digital).
FUEL ALLOWANCE FEE PER CAR CATEGORY:
All rental cars at the time of delivery to customers at the rental points, will be enabled with fuel tanks completely filled to their maximum capacity (as indicated in the technical profile of each car). Customers must pay a fuel charge which at the time of being requested in the customer's reservation, will be included in the final rate of rental service and previously charged by credit or debit card according to the customer's choice and as indicated below:
Car economy category: 61.00 USD.
- Medium category car: 67.00 USD.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
VERY IMPORTANT: REQUIREMENTS OF MANDATORY COMPLIANCE BY THE PASSENGER (FOR MORE DETAILS SEE BELOW: RENTAL CONDITIONS): *Driver's age: From 21 to 80 years old. *DRIVER'S LICENSE: must be valid for at least 3 years. *DOCUMENTS: The client must show for the signature of the rental contract his license and ORIGINAL passport and printed AGENCY voucher (not digital).
PAYMENT OF SERVICES:
The following must be prepaid to THE AGENCY in all cases: * Daily rental cost * Daily cost of insurance or liability waiver (). * Initial gasoline. For economy cars: 56 usd and for medium cars: 62 usd. * Surcharge for pick up at airports: 20,00 usd. () It is mandatory to book and pay the insurance according to the age of the contract holder and the additional driver ((21-24 / 25-75 / 76-80)). And it is the responsibility of the person requesting the reservation to THE AGENCY to ask this detail to the client and send us the correct information. In case it is not guaranteed THE AGENCY will invoice the corresponding difference to the Agency that sold the service.
OTHER OPTIONAL PAYMENTS:
- Additional driver - 3,00 usd x day. This service can be pre-paid to THE AGENCY, but the client has also the option to pay it directly at the Rental Office at the moment of signing the contract. VERY IMPORTANT: In case the agency requests to include the additional driver in the invoice for pre-payment, you must inform us the full name and identity document of the additional driver (passport or ID card). This information will be included in the CUBACAR reservation. This implies that the name of the additional driver cannot be changed at the moment of picking up the car. In case a change is required, the rental office will charge again directly to the client the cost of the additional driver and there will be no refund.
OTHER ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS:
These services must be requested and paid directly by the customer at the rental office: * Supplement for Drop Off at any destination other than the one where it was contracted. * Supplement for Drop Off at Airports: 25,00 usd * Baby seats (subject to availability) * Security deposit (in case they start charging it again) Additional payments at the rental office must be made by Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, MLC and other international cards). NO CASH payments are accepted in any currency.
PICK UP AND DROP OFF DELAYS:
PICKUP DELAY: If the client must delay the pick up of the car for the following day, due to flight delays or any other cause, he/she must immediately notify our booking. Mail: booking@holiplus.com / info@holiplus.com and to our assistance cell phones (+53) 5 1865292, so that they can inform the rental company. Otherwise, the reservation is automatically declared NO SHOW. The client loses the possibility of renting the car and the agency will be billed the corresponding penalty for no show.
DROP OFF DELAY: The car must be delivered at the time agreed in the contract or within 4 hours after the pickup time. In case the client does not return the car at the agreed time, a penalty equivalent to 1 extra day will be applied directly to the client, without extension, according to the public price. When the delay in delivery is more than 5 hours, the customer will be penalized with two extra days. The delay time will be counted from the moment the customer is present at the sales office.
CLAIMS:
*Before any claim from the client for non-compliance of services it is mandatory to submit as support a copy of the lease contract.
THE AGENCY is not responsible for: *The non-compliance of any of the above requirements by the client. In case of cancellation of the rental for these reasons, no refund will be made. *The loss or non-presentation of original documents by the client (driver's license, passport, voucher delivered by distal, etc.). In case of loss of any of these documents and cancellation of the rental for this reason, the TTOO will not be reimbursed any amount. *In case the client does not pick up the car on the day confirmed by THE AGENCY, he/she loses the reservation and will be billed as no show, no refund will be made to the TTOO.
GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS:
I - SEASONS
*MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD IN HIGH SEASON: 3 DAYS. *MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD IN EXTREME HIGH SEASON: 5 DAYS *MAXIMUM RENTAL PERIOD: 30 days. If the reservation is for more than 30 days, you must request a new contract every 30 days following the previous one for the number of days you wish and so on.
HIGH SEASON: 01/01/2024 to 30/06/2024 01/09/2024 to 30/11/2024
EXTREME HIGH SEASON: 01/12/2023 to 31/12/2023 01/07/2024 to 31/08/2024
II - RELEASE:
Reservation requests will be ON REQUEST, subject to SALES STOP and according to AVAILABILITY of the same. Reservations must be requested at least 3 days prior to the start of the rental, in both seasons.
III - REQUEST FOR RESERVATIONS:
Reservations must be requested in writing and in all cases must include the following customer information: * NAME OF THE CLIENT * CLIENT'S AGE * PASSPORT NUMBER * PICK UP/DROP OFF DATE * PICK UP/DROP OFF LOCATION * CAR CATEGORY * If THE CUSTOMER IS FLYING ON A FLIGHT THE FLIGHT NUMBER AND TIME MUST BE SENT. (important to be able to keep the car reservation in case of flight delays on arrival)
IV. RESERVATION MODIFICATION POLICY:
Once the reservation has been confirmed by AVAILABILITY in the system, NO modification of the reservation in any of its concepts (date name, car category, pick up place, pick up time) will be allowed. For any change the reservation must be cancelled and reassembled. This means that the previous reservation will be considered as CANCELLED and the corresponding charges will be applied (NOTE: SEE CANCELLATION POLICY).
IV. In case the rental period covers more than one season, the price fixed is that of the season where the rental starts.

VI. IT IS IMPERATIVE TO INFORM THE CLIENT OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS FOR THE RENTAL:
- CATEGORIES AND MAKES: Car categories are confirmed, but makes and models are subject to the availability of the rental company.
- FUEL PAYMENT POLICY: Rental rates do not include fuel. But the vehicle will be rented with a full tank of gas and this must be prepaid to THE AGENCY at the time of booking the car. For economy cars: 56 usd and for medium cars: 62 usd. The vehicle can only be fueled with the fuel established by contract.
- DROP OFF POLICY: The customer may return the vehicle at any of the sales offices in the country. When the return is made in another sales office other than the one that opened the car lease contract, the customer will have to pay a return supplement or DROP OFF which is detailed in the attached table (See Drop Off Supplement).
- This payment must be made directly by the client at the renter's office with a credit card, cash payments will not be accepted).
- No services will be confirmed in Cayo Santa Maria, nor openings, extensions or liquidations of contracts.
- AIRPORT PICKUP: Car pickups at Havana airport have an additional charge of 20.00 usd.

- DROP OFF AT AIRPORTS: there is an additional charge of 25.00 usd.
- DENUNCIATION IN CASE OF THEFT AND/OR ACCIDENT: In case of accident, total or partial theft, the CLIENT should proceed to inform the rental office closest to the place of the event and report it to the police, which will serve to know the guilt or not of the CLIENT. IMPORTANT: The CUSTOMER is responsible for the violation of any, some or all of the clauses of the particular rental contract and will be penalized accordingly.
INSURANCE COVERAGE (or RELEASE OF LIABILITY):
1.1. TRANSTUR provides the user with liability relief coverage, provided that the user complies with the clauses included in the vehicle rental contract. 1.2. The payment of the liability relief coverage offered by TRANSTUR is mandatory. The payment of this coverage exonerates the responsibility of payment to THE LESSEE for the concepts: -Damage to the vehicle. -Loss of the vehicle. -Fire. -Total or partial theft (except for tires and music equipment). -Crash or overturn. -Accidents. -Natural disasters. -Damage caused to other people's property or injuries to third parties caused while driving a vehicle on public roads. 1.3. In all the cases described in the preceding clause, the user shall immediately notify the competent authorities of the occurrence of the event. 1.4. In the same way, the user shall present to the Agency or Sales Office of TRANSTUR, before or at the moment of settlement of the lease contract of the vehicle, the voucher issued by the National Revolutionary Police, stating the formulation of the complaint, in case of loss or subtraction or report of the National Revolutionary Police of the place of the fact or of the inspectors of TRANSTUR in the case of the occurrence of an accident. 1.5. By means of this documentation TRANSTUR will determine if the user is exempt from payment for the damages caused, according to the coverage of relief of responsibility that has paid. 1.6. When by means of the documents described above, it is determined that the user has not complied with the obligations that make him/her exempt from payment for the damages caused, he/she is obliged to pay the amount corresponding to the total damages according to TRANSTUR's price list. 1.7. The coverage covers the CUSTOMER during the term of the contract of lease of the vehicle and in case of accident up to twelve (12) hours after the expiration of the same. 1.8. The coverage offered by TRANSTUR does not proceed in the cases that occur any of the following aspects: -Theft of tires and/or audio equipment. -Partial theft, accident or fire due to negligent action of the user or client when it is proven by the competent authorities that he/she has been driving while intoxicated or under the effects of illegal drugs or similar, or when the use of the vehicle in illicit activities is detected. 1.9. In case of any of the above mentioned aspects, the CUSTOMER shall be held responsible for all damages caused to the vehicle and third parties, being liable for the payment of the total damages caused.

OTHER POSSIBLE CHARGES:
- In case of loss of the car key: 200.00 CUC of penalty.
- If the key stays inside the car, assisting clients with a spare key, will have a charge of 50.00 CUC if client is in Havana City and 100.00 CUC in the rest of the provinces.
- If the customer deliver the car extremely dirty or transports animals inside the car: 50.00 CUC of penalty.
- If the car is delivered by an additional driver: 50.00 CUC of penalty.
- If the car is driven or returned by a person not registered in the contract, it will be penalized with the amount of the days to be used and the deposit of guarantee.
- In case of car carpet loss: 50.00 CUC of penalty.
- In the case that the client decides to transport the vehicle by sea to or from the territories of Cayo Largo del Sur and Isla de La Juventud, according to the Owner Branch, taking Havana as a reference: A penalty of 200.00 USD + the value of the Drop-off will be applied.
