Smoosh Cookies, the Rice Village truck that serves up ice cream cookie sandwiches, is expanding to a permanent location in the Heights.

A post to the truck’s Instagram account announces its impending expansion, and Swamplot reports that it will set up shop next to Snooze, an A.M. Eatery at Lowell Street Market in the Heights. The shop has earned raves for its freshly-baked cookies, each stuffed with a giant scoop of ice cream and coated in a variety of toppings, along with cookie ice cream splits, milkshakes, and sundaes.

Also reportedly joining Smoosh Cookies at Lowell Street Market is Teaspresso Bar, a Hawaiian chain that serves customizable milk teas and other beverages. It looks to be a haven for tea enthusiasts, with leaves like genmaicha and toffee assam on the menu, and destination for boba junkies. Teaspresso Bar has yet to confirm this expansion to Houston, but its name is listed on the development’s site plan.

No word yet on when Smoosh Cookies and Teaspresso will debut in the Heights. Stay tuned for more details.
