Disclaimer

This key is under active development to add more illustrations and recently described species. Please e-mail questions, comments, or suggestions to camiel.doorenweerd@hawaii.edu. Not all dacine fruit fly species can be identified confidently to species level using morphology alone. In particular, members of species complexes (as indicated in the key) will often need additional data, such as molecular (DNA), rearing records, biogeographic origin, etc. Use at your own discretion.
