These green olives originate from Lucca, Italy. Lucca is called "Lucques" in French. These hand picked olives are now known as a speciality of the Languedoc region of France, prized for their firm texture and delicate creamy flavor.
Barrel is a family owned and run company located in Carros, near Nice, located in the French Riviera. They have specialized in olive oil and olives since 1883.
