Black Clover Manga Return Date Announced

The Black Clover manga, which moved from Weekly Shonen Jump to Jump Giga, is coming back with a fresh chapter.

The manga stopped serialisation in WSJ after Chapter 368 in August 2023, and the upcoming chapter is scheduled for release on December 25, 2023, perfectly timed for Christmas.

The upcoming Chapter 369 will be 28 pages in length, and have coloured pages, along with a special poster and stickers.

Fans expressed disappointment over the shorter length of the chapters following the three-month hiatus. “Three-plus months for 28 pages is insane,” one fan commented. Another added, “SMH, three months for 28 pages?… Man, this is sad.” There was an expectation that the chapter's length would be at least 50 pages, or close to it.

Black Clover is approaching the climax of its storyline. The concluding arc, called the Ultimate Wizard King Arc, revolves around the big reveal of a new Wizard King by the story's end.

The current magazine hosting Black Clover's serialisation, Jump Giga, operates on a quarterly schedule. Its typical content comprises one-shots, concise manga series, and promotional bonus chapters from Jump series. Consequently, this implies that the series will receive four chapters annually.

You can catch up to the latest chapters of Black Clover on Shueisha’s Manga Plus service and Viz Media’s Weekly Shonen Jump digital library.
